The Green Crew is a youth-led leadership development and conservation service program, designed to turn passion into action.

It began when a group of high schoolers—coming out of COVID—wanted to make a difference in their environment but lacked the tools, support, experience was designed and built to change that!

With mentors, advisors, and a tiered leadership model, we support youth from the first spark of an idea all the way through to implementation. Whether you're just showing up for the first time or ready to lead your own team, there's a place for you in the Crew.

Now in its fourth year, Green Crew has empowered over 2,500 young people across the Twin Cities and is expanding to new chapters in Mankato, Bemidji, and the East Metro. Our model is built to scale—replicable in any community, and adaptable to local ecological needs.

The goal? A network of Green Crews across the country, giving youth everywhere the tools to protect their environment and lead with purpose.
